Clearly Privacy Policy

Clearly is a camera magnifier that is designed to process camera previews and captured images on the device. This Privacy Policy explains what information Clearly processes, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.

1. Who operates Clearly

Device-local settings

Clearly stores limited settings on your device, such as tutorial completion, view preferences, and advertising frequency/eligibility counters. These values are used to remember your choices and enforce ad-frequency limits. They are not used to identify you and are removed when the app’s local data is cleared or the app is uninstalled, subject to operating-system behavior.

Network and remote configuration

The production app may request a small, versioned advertising-control document to enable or disable ad placements. The document contains placement flags and does not intentionally include camera content, photos, account information, or precise location. The hosting provider may receive ordinary network metadata, such as an IP address and request time, under its own privacy policy.

Clearly currently does not provide user accounts, an operator-run analytics database, or an operator-run crash-reporting service.

3. Advertising and Google services

Production builds use the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent management and advertising. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device or app identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from network data, diagnostic information, ad requests, impressions, clicks, and consent signals to deliver, measure, secure, and improve advertising. The exact data and purposes depend on your region, device settings, and consent choices.

Where required, UMP presents a consent form before personalized advertising is requested. You can change available advertising privacy choices from Clearly’s Settings screen. If you do not consent, Google may provide non-personalized or limited advertising, or no advertising may be shown.

Clearly’s current production configuration does not request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission and does not intentionally access the Apple IDFA. This configuration may change only with an updated build and appropriate notice and consent where required.

Depending on your location, we process information as necessary to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, protect the service, or pursue legitimate interests such as preventing fraud and maintaining service security. We rely on your consent where consent is required, including relevant advertising personalization and local-storage choices.

Because Clearly does not maintain an operator-run user account or image database, most local app data can be removed by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app. Google may retain information processed through its advertising services according to Google’s policies and applicable law.

5. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your camera images or personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the app and its advertising features, including with Google Mobile Ads/UMP and the hosting provider for the advertising-control document. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Children

Clearly is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through an operator-run account or database. If a child uses Clearly, a parent or legal guardian should review the device and advertising consent choices. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can address the request.

7. Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the limited information processed by Clearly. Camera content is intended to remain on the device and temporary files are removed after the relevant operation when possible. We retain no operator-controlled camera or image archive.

Third-party providers may retain information under their own retention, security, and legal requirements. Local preferences and ad counters remain on your device until cleared or removed by the operating system.

8. International processing

Google and other service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable, those providers use the safeguards required by relevant data-protection law.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Clearly’s features, advertising configuration, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top will be updated when a new version is published. Continued use of Clearly after an update means that you have reviewed the updated policy, subject to any consent that the law requires us to obtain.

Clearly는 기기에서 카메라 미리보기와 촬영 이미지를 처리하는 카메라 확대경 앱입니다. 이 방침은 Clearly가 어떤 정보를 처리하는지, 그 이유와 사용자의 선택 방법을 설명합니다.

기기 내 설정

튜토리얼 완료 여부, 보기 설정, 광고 빈도·자격 카운터와 같은 제한된 값을 기기에 저장할 수 있습니다. 이 값은 선택을 기억하고 광고 빈도 제한을 지키기 위한 것이며 사용자를 식별하는 데 사용하지 않습니다. 앱의 로컬 데이터를 삭제하거나 앱을 제거하면 운영체제 동작에 따라 제거됩니다.

네트워크와 원격 설정

프로덕션 앱은 광고 지면을 켜거나 끄기 위한 작은 버전 관리형 광고 제어 문서를 요청할 수 있습니다. 이 문서에는 지면 상태만 포함되며 카메라, 사진, 계정 정보, 정확한 위치를 의도적으로 포함하지 않습니다. 호스팅 사업자는 자체 방침에 따라 IP 주소와 요청 시각 같은 일반 네트워크 메타데이터를 받을 수 있습니다.

Clearly는 현재 사용자 계정, 운영자 관리 분석 데이터베이스, 운영자 관리 충돌 보고 서비스를 제공하지 않습니다.

3. 광고와 Google 서비스

프로덕션 빌드는 광고와 동의 관리를 위해 Google Mobile Ads SDK(AdMob)와 Google User Messaging Platform(UMP)을 사용합니다. Google과 광고 파트너는 광고 제공·측정·보안·개선을 위해 기기 또는 앱 식별자, IP 주소, 네트워크 정보로 추정한 대략적 위치, 진단 정보, 광고 요청·노출·클릭 정보, 동의 신호 등을 처리할 수 있습니다. 실제 처리 항목과 목적은 지역, 기기 설정, 동의 선택에 따라 달라집니다.

필요한 지역에서는 개인화 광고를 요청하기 전에 UMP 동의 양식을 표시합니다. Clearly 설정 화면에서 가능한 광고 개인정보 보호 선택을 변경할 수 있습니다. 동의하지 않으면 비개인화·제한 광고가 제공되거나 광고가 표시되지 않을 수 있습니다.

현재 Clearly 프로덕션 설정은 Apple App Tracking Transparency 권한을 요청하지 않으며 Apple IDFA에 의도적으로 접근하지 않습니다. 이 설정을 변경하려면 업데이트된 빌드와 필요한 고지·동의가 적용되어야 합니다.

4. 법적 근거와 이용자 선택

지역에 따라 앱 제공, 법적 의무 이행, 서비스 보안·부정행위 방지 등을 위해 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다. 법에서 동의를 요구하는 경우, 광고 개인화와 관련 로컬 저장소 사용 등에 대해 동의를 근거로 처리합니다.

사용자는 다음을 할 수 있습니다.

Clearly는 운영자가 관리하는 사용자 계정이나 이미지 데이터베이스를 운영하지 않으므로 대부분의 로컬 앱 데이터는 앱 데이터 삭제 또는 앱 삭제로 제거할 수 있습니다. Google 광고 서비스가 처리하는 정보는 Google 방침과 관련 법률에 따라 보관될 수 있습니다.

5. 제공·공유

카메라 이미지나 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다. 앱과 광고 기능 제공에 필요한 범위에서 Google Mobile Ads/UMP 및 광고 제어 문서를 호스팅하는 사업자와 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다. 각 사업자는 자체 약관과 개인정보처리방침에 따라 처리합니다.

6. 아동

Clearly는 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며 운영자 관리 계정이나 데이터베이스를 통해 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다. 아동이 Clearly를 사용하는 경우 보호자가 기기 및 광고 동의 선택을 확인해야 합니다.

7. 보안과 보관

Clearly가 처리하는 제한된 정보에 맞는 합리적인 기술적·관리적 보호조치를 사용합니다. 카메라 콘텐츠는 기기에 남도록 설계되며 임시 파일은 작업 후 가능한 경우 삭제합니다. 운영자가 관리하는 카메라·이미지 보관소는 운영하지 않습니다.

제3자 사업자는 자체 보관·보안·법적 의무에 따라 정보를 보관할 수 있습니다. 로컬 설정과 광고 카운터는 사용자가 삭제하거나 운영체제가 제거할 때까지 기기에 남습니다.

8. 국외 처리

Google 및 제3자 사업자는 이용자의 거주 국가 외에서 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다. 해당되는 경우 관련 개인정보 보호법이 요구하는 보호조치를 적용합니다.

9. 방침 변경

Clearly 기능, 광고 설정 또는 법적 의무가 변경되면 이 방침을 업데이트할 수 있습니다. 새 버전을 게시하면 상단 시행일을 변경합니다. 법률상 별도 동의가 필요한 경우를 제외하고, 변경 후 Clearly를 계속 사용하면 변경된 방침을 확인한 것으로 봅니다.
